Redefine Prom Queen Your Way

I can see it now, the freeze dried Barbie doll hair, the coordinated colors, the corsages, and the Cinderella-esque  ball gowns. Prom is supposed to be the best night of your life (or the most important part of high school, if you have your priorities in order). So why not end the so called best four years of your life with a bang? This year at prom, why not find a dress thats totally you, because no one likes to see duplicates of themselves.

Here's some tips
1. ALWAYS have a decent budget
2. You don't have to be trendy, think outside the box. Try getting inspiration from abstract designers, celebs, or even art work itself ;)
3. Have fun. Be safe at Prom '10

Im taking a bit of a break

 Since my blog is coming off to a slow start. Ive decided to take a break from it for a while. Since nobody is reading it. I have been extremely busy with school lately, so i'll start blogging again when i have the time, and something to blog about. ;)

i cant wait until spring!

  Winter here in Maryland is pretty much awful, so I'm just about ready for spring. This year, I'm seeing a lot of billowy tops, pretty-girly floral skirts, with a classic rock edge. I cant wait to bring out my sandals, tee shirts, cutoff shorts and chic  blazers. ;) And by the way, SCREW YOU GROUNDHOG! Two blizards in one week?

Gone too soon...Alexander McQueen commited suicide

  Today isn't going so well, my back is killing me, I had to dig myself out today after the second snow storm this week, and worst of all, I heard the worst news. Another one of my favorite legends and muses has passed. Alexander McQueen. He was creative, different, and was one of the most genuinely talented artists in the fashion industry. This goes to show you, someone can appear to have everything they've ever asked for, but you cant judge a book by its cover. Live every day as if it's your last, don't EVER take ANYTHING for granted. Tell your friends and family everyday how much you love them,no matter how much you may piss each other off. And if you have a gift, use it to make others happy,and most of all, make yourself happy. Love yourself, no matter what. R.I.P Alexander McQueen, you will be missed.

I'd rather be unconventional, different, and misunderstood

  Ive completely come to the point in my life where I really just don't give a shit what people think any more. I refuse to let my self feed off of the negative energy people have. If people don't "understand" me, screw you, If I have bothered you by my appearance, too fucking bad, and if I have in any way shape or form pissed you off because I'm different, deal with it. I'm sick of seeing other girls my age and even younger trying so hard to "fit it" what the hell does that even mean? Be yourself, I know it sounds really cliche but we've got to stop trying so hard to be what society calls "normal". That is why I'm going to write my book, it wont be your average teenage sob story, but it will be uplifting, and give people a more realistic view of life as an outcast on so many levels.

Louis Vutton Shoes, Spring/Summer 2010

  I hate to say this, but I really think the new shoes for the Louis Vutton spring collection, are absolutely hideous. Everything from the ugly design, to the hair and doorknob heels, make me want to gag. I love and adore Marc Jacobs, but he could do sooooo much better, hopefully this Fall, or next Spring and Summer, the shoes in the collection wont look like a pimp wearing Uggs vomited on someone's foot.
